A private laboratory specialized in the analysis, testing and failure analysis of materials since 1993

The production of high value-added parts by metal additive manufacturing processes is a rapidly growing sector. The technology enables the production of parts that are highly complex to make using conventional machining (by removal of material) as well as substantial gains in weight. The technology is used in domains expecting a very high level of reliability such as the space, medical, defense, or aeronautics industries.
These methodologies allow us to characterize multiple materials such as Inconel, Titanium, Stainless steel, Aluminium, etc.
The Analyses & Surface laboratory is able to support industrialists in the different areas of the 3D printing process, upstream and downstream, by destructive or non-destructive methodologies:

- MODELING STRUCTURES AND CALCULATING MECHANICAL AND VIBRATORY STRESSES ;

- POWDER CHARACTERIZATION : Particle size distribution by laser granulometry, Detailed morphological analysis, Study of powder recycling cycles, Determination of shape and size parameters, Chemical analysis, DRX analysis ;

- CHARACTERIZATION OF MATERIALS : Morphology / Topography of surfaces by non-contact method, Micro Hardness of materials, Characterization of microstructures ;

- NON-DESTRUCTIVE VIBRATION FATIGUE ANALYSIS : Study by laser vibrometry and non destructive methodologies on all sizes of parts, by modal analysis or operational deformed shape; study of structural dynamics; integration of the results in the calculation models for readjustment ;

- QUALIFICATION PLAN IN AGING ACCELERATED UNDER MULTIPHYSICAL CONSTRAINTS : Solar or UV photo-aging, Thermal Shock or Climatic testing, Neutral Salt Fog Test, Combined Mono and Multi-Axis Vibratory Endurance tests ;

- FAILURE ANALYSIS AND CONTROL: : Search for the origin of a failure (Failure, Corrosion, Behavior, etc.), Complete investigation around the life cycle and use, Diagnostic of failure factors, Search for solutions, Redesign support ;
